Tarkov hideout guide: upgrades, items and craft costs

A hideout plan is easier to follow when it separates your next upgrade, the supplies still missing and the production already running. Raid2Gether lets you enter station levels, inspect upgrade requirements and track craft timers beside the item and market reference.

Your next three steps

  1. Record station levels

Set the current level for each station you want to plan around.

  2. Prepare the next upgrade

Inspect item quantities and station dependencies, then add shortages to your shopping list.

  3. Track active production

Start a craft timer when you begin production, then collect or cancel it in the companion as your plan changes.

Plan around the next station level

Read the next level rather than an isolated item list. Station dependencies and quantities explain what must be in place before an upgrade can fit your plan. Updating your station levels keeps those requirements useful as your hideout changes.

Check what you already own before adding the full requirement to your shopping list. A list that reflects only the shortage is easier to use when you return from a raid or compare market purchases.

Treat craft figures as estimates

An estimated craft margin depends on ingredient values, output quantity and the price assigned to the output. Reusable tools should be distinguished from ingredients consumed by production. A change in any of those assumptions changes the estimate.

Flea fees and your actual transaction prices also matter. Compare the estimate with the values available in your game before starting a craft purely for profit. Cached market data helps you search quickly, while quote age tells you when another price check may be worthwhile.

Keep timers and game state in sync yourself

The craft ledger helps organize production you choose to track. Start it when you start production in the game, and use collect or cancel when you take those actions. A timer in a companion is a planning record, not proof that the station is currently producing.

A short routine works well: review the next upgrade, clear completed production, check missing inputs and then start the next planned timer. Keep the item list editable so a changed price or newly found ingredient can change the plan.

  • Update station levels after an upgrade.
  • Check dependencies as well as item costs.
  • Separate reusable tools from consumed inputs.
  • Compare estimates with fees and current in-game prices.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Inspect station requirements and add the supplies you need to your shopping list.

Can I cancel a tracked timer?

Yes. The craft ledger lets you start, collect or cancel tracked production.
