Your next three steps
- 01
Set the map and floor
Open the location you are playing and select its floor or artwork level.
- 02
Choose useful layers
Enable extracts, place names and the reference layers needed for this route. Hide the rest.
- 03
Choose a destination
Set an extraction, quest objective or personal meeting point and keep the latest position age in mind.
Make the map readable before adding more markers
Place names and extraction markers are a useful starting point. Add reference layers such as spawn areas, keys, containers and hazards when they help answer a specific planning question. Turning on every layer at once can make the important destination harder to see.
Reference spawn layers show possible locations, not live enemies. A marker is planning information; it does not tell you that a boss, player or container state is present in your current raid.
Understand where the position comes from
Raid2Gether uses Tarkov screenshot files and their filenames for position tracking. Choose the game screenshot folder, set the same screenshot binding in both applications, and start tracking while Tarkov is in the foreground. Capture pauses when the game loses focus.
The marker reflects the latest available screenshot position. Pause state, update age and the last known position matter when you move quickly or switch windows. Treat the navigation line as a planning aid, not a guarantee that the straight line is a walkable path.
Choose a display that fits your setup
The minimap can be configured for a monitor, while local sharing lets a phone or tablet on the same trusted network display your map. The app starts with monitor display disabled, so you can choose how to use it.
A second monitor or the phone/tablet view keeps the companion away from the game display. Check the display guidance in the app before showing the minimap over the game. For local sharing, start the service in the app, open the displayed address on the same network and stop sharing when finished.
- Confirm the extraction is available to your character in the current raid.
- Inspect floors and terrain before following a destination.
- Hide irrelevant layers to reduce clutter.
- Keep local sharing within a trusted network.
Frequently asked questions
Which Tarkov maps can I use?
The app includes map profiles such as Customs, Woods, Interchange, Shoreline, Reserve, Lighthouse, Streets of Tarkov, Factory, Ground Zero and The Lab. Available floors depend on the map profile.
Can I use the map on a phone?
Yes. Start local sharing and open the address shown in the app on a phone or tablet connected to the same trusted local network.
Are extraction markers a live availability feed?
No. Check the extraction list and conditions in your current raid. Reference markers alone do not establish availability.
Does tracking continue when I leave the game window?
Automatic screenshot capture pauses when Tarkov is not in the foreground.
