Tarkov squad map: share a destination and stay together

A shared map works best when the group also shares a clear destination. Raid2Gether brings teammate positions, markers and common quest planning into one squad view, while keeping personal task completion separate.

Your next three steps

  1. Create or join a group

Share the group code with your teammates. Locked groups use join approval.

  2. Agree on a destination

Choose a meeting point, quest objective or extraction and check that everyone is looking at the same map.

  3. Read teammate status

Check paused or offline states and the latest available positions before assuming a marker is current.

Share the destination, keep individual progress

A marker gives the group a common point to discuss. Use it for a meeting place, a next objective or an extraction plan rather than relying on several different descriptions of the same building. Check floors when a destination is inside a multi-level area.

Common quests can guide the team, but each player still manages their own checklist. One completed step in a teammate’s plan should not overwrite another person’s progress. Agree on the next step and update your personal completion after doing it.

Use group controls deliberately

Keep the group code within your squad. Lock the group when you want new members to require approval, and use the available leader or moderator controls to manage the roster. Squad chat provides a compact place for messages and quick reactions.

Windows notifications can alert you to join requests and squad messages even when the app is in the tray. Notification types and sound are configurable, so you can keep the signals that help your group without leaving every alert enabled.

A last known position is still a last known position

Position sharing depends on each teammate’s available screenshot updates. Pause state, offline status and update age are important context. A marker that has not moved is not evidence that the player is still standing there.

If you use local sharing for a phone or tablet, open the address shown by the app on the same trusted network. That view can contain minimap and group positions. Stop the service when you no longer need it and keep the address within that network.

  • Pick one next destination before moving.
  • Check map and floor when a callout is ambiguous.
  • Respect paused and offline states.
  • Keep group codes and local map sharing within your trusted squad.

Frequently asked questions

Can a group require approval to join?

Yes. Locked groups use join requests and the group management controls determine who is admitted.

Can teammates see a shared destination?

The group view supports shared markers and planning around common objectives. Individual checklists remain separate.

Can I pause tracking without leaving the group?

Yes. Capture pause keeps the group connection intact while marking your position as paused.

Can I disable squad chat notification sounds?

Yes. Notification types and sound can be configured in the Notifications page of the Windows app.
