Escape from Tarkov PMC and Scav raids: prepare the right checklist

Choose the character context before using a map or reviewing an objective. A familiar location does not mean that the same extraction list and preparation plan apply to both characters.

Your next three steps

  1. Set the character context

Set PMC or Scav in the companion to match the raid you are playing. Read the exits shown by the game after spawning. Avoid copying an exit plan from a previous run without checking whether its character and conditions match.

  2. Check the current extraction list

Identify a landmark, choose the next leg and leave time for extraction. A second-screen map can help you check direction without filling the game view. Position tracking is based on the latest screenshot, so paused or old markers need context.

  3. Review the loot transfer

At the Raid ended loot transfer screen, analyze the inventory on the left. The stash on the right belongs to a different context and should not become part of the raid report. Review recognized items, quantities and expenses before sharing the resulting summary.

Start with the actual character

Set PMC or Scav in the companion to match the raid you are playing. Read the exits shown by the game after spawning. Avoid copying an exit plan from a previous run without checking whether its character and conditions match.

For your PMC plan, keep the selected task and its equipment requirements in view. For a Scav run, focus on the equipment and routes you actually have available rather than assuming the loadout you normally prepare.

Use the same navigation discipline

Identify a landmark, choose the next leg and leave time for extraction. A second-screen map can help you check direction without filling the game view. Position tracking is based on the latest screenshot, so paused or old markers need context.

Review what you can transfer

At the Raid ended loot transfer screen, analyze the inventory on the left. The stash on the right belongs to a different context and should not become part of the raid report. Review recognized items, quantities and expenses before sharing the resulting summary.
